DNAmemory

DNAmemory

DNAmemory is the two years project-path that leads the audience through the discovery of concepts like gesture transmission, dance, memories, and past and future generations. The path is organized in three locations – Opificio Romaeuropa, Pelanda and Piccolo Eliseo- and moves backwards starting with VITA NOVA’s future generations’ project: Virgilio Sieni’s “Indigene”. Beyond gesture transmission there are Noé Soulier’s consideration “Mouvement sur Mouvement” and Raffaella Giordano’s historic solo “Fiordalisi”, an exploration of contemporary scenario concept. The VITA NOVA project -created and developed by Virgilio Sieni and produced by Venezia’s Biennale- is a training course for young dancers, from 10 to 13 years old, which aim is to create a new contemporary dance repertoire. The project moves all over the country to support its development in every Italian region; therefore, Italian regions involved so far in 2014 are: Lazio, Marche, Puglia, Toscana, Umbria and Veneto. After its introducing at Venezia’s Biennale, the VITA NOVA project arrived in Rome at DNAmemory with two proposals by Adriana Borriello and Virgilio Sieni for young dancers.
