Annamaria Ajmone, Valentina Buldrini/Martina La Ragione + Lautaro Reyes con SISTEMA dal Certamen Coreografico de Madrid
The DNAppunti Coreografici project is once again opening the DNA edition with its intimate moments: three Italian choreographers -Annamaria Ajmone, Caterina Basso and the Valentina Buldrini/Martina La Ragione duo- perform their choreographic “notes” on an unconventional stage. Each one of them has 15 minutes to show its own personal creative processes choreographic differences. The audience will be asked to express its preferences, together with a group of professional -Massimo Carosi, Laura Kumin and Anita Van Dolen- who is going to reward the most promising project with a creative residence and economic support. Annamaria Ajmone presents “Tiny”, an “[In]Quiete” continue which slips into intimate atmospheres and narrates a metamorphosis of flash and bones. Secondly Caterina Basso presents “Sovrappensiero”, a research about dynamics of a body who is tossed and turned by its own will and external forces. Finally Valentina Buldrini and Martina La Ragione present “you.b”, a Hieronymus Bosch’s paintings inspired performance, between life and death, light and shadow.
The DNAppunti Coreografici afternoon ends with the introduction of “Sistema” (2013), the young Certamen Coreografico de Madrid’s young promise Lautaro Reyes duet. The performance, created by Reyes and his crew, is a study of human expressions and codes, such as intellect, emotions and instincts.
