MAGINARIUM is a magic show on wheels… literally!
An old caravan transformed into a welcoming theatre with a unique imaginary world.
Small-scale and intimate, and programmable even in unconventional spaces, MAGINARIUM is an experience that invites the audience to step into a new world full of magic, mystery, and illusion… but also with generous doses of humour, live music, and surrealism.
A multidisciplinary artist and international performer, Segalés discovered the world of magic at the age of five thanks to his father, who passed on a passion that would soon become a profession. From adolescence onward, he began performing regularly and, by the age of fifteen, embarked on a professional path that would lead him to build an international career.
Alongside his artistic practice, he earned a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a background that is also reflected in his stage work and in his ability to connect with diverse audiences. He performs fluently in Catalan, Spanish, and English, and throughout his career has also presented his shows in Portuguese, Italian, and French.
With more than twenty countries visited and a constant presence in international festivals and showcases across Europe and beyond, Segalés has developed an artistic practice capable of adapting to very different contexts, always keeping the direct relationship with the audience at its core.
A particularly significant chapter of his trajectory is his collaboration with Clowns Without Borders, through which he has brought magic to communities affected by conflict, humanitarian crises, and natural disasters. Over the years, he has performed in Ethiopia (2020 and 2025), Morocco (2024), Colombia (2019 and 2022), Jordan (2018), Liberia (2016), El Salvador (2016), Bosnia and Herzegovina (2015), and Lebanon (2011), using the universal language of performance as a tool for encounter, lightness, and shared humanity.
The quality and originality of his work have also been recognised through numerous international awards and selections. Among the main distinctions are the award for Best Magic Show received in 2018 at the Straßenzauber festival in Weilheim, Germany, the Second National Prize for Street Magic awarded in 2010 at the Almussafes Mágico congress in Valencia, and more recently, his selection in 2023 among the fifteen best street magicians in Europe at the Masters of Magic festival in Turin.
Alongside magic, music has always been a fundamental part of his artistic research. A passionate musician, he plays several string and traditional percussion instruments, elements that naturally flow into his performances. The result is a personal stage language in which illusionism and musical dimension merge into an engaging, poetic, and surprising experience, capable of leaving the audience suspended between wonder, rhythm, and emotion.
