For this edition of Digitalife, the partnership with Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains di Tourcoing (FR) actualizes into a complete and well-filled review of the video and the film produced by the artists, the students and the teachers of the Centre. Le Fresnoy is a center able to give form to ambitious, experimental and cutting-edge projects. This is the reason why the greatest international artists love to create their work into the French center. So, the school has now important productive equipment for the audiovisuals with traditional or innovative post-production instruments.
From animation short films to feature length films and to Video Art, this review describes the importance of the always changing contemporary forms of film expression. Le Fresnoy has and experimental and also and intellectual spirit: conferences and workshops concern as with contemporary art themes as with scientific and technological issues.
