With IK… eh ik, musical theatre company Het Houten Huis build a space outside the logic of physics: a room where gravity does not apply, that turns upside down and hosts a fantastical and poetic world. Inhabiting this world is an overworked man, who wakes up and in an instant his house is transformed: the door becomes an aquarium, the shutters and grates keep strange musical secrets, all the furniture behaves like his playful and mischievous alter ego. And as the house starts to spin and roll, objects become musical instruments, his pyjamas turn into a raincoat and… the phone rings- but this is the time to contemplate freedom.
