Preeminent Polish jazz musician and internationally renowned pianist Leszek Mozdzer, joined by pioneering jazz ensemble Atom String Quartet, presents a tribute to Krysztof Penderecky- a composer of the Polish avant-garde known to the general public for the use of his music in famous films by directors such as William Friedkin, Stanley Kubrick and Aflonso Cuaron. His compositions, affected by a deep Catholic faith, are still profoundly contemporary, classically postmodern and capable of arousing stirring emotions.
