With its wide range of material, the Romaeuropa Historical Archive is the ideal source of material on its past and current activities. An open and constantly growing archive, it has accumulated materials pertaining to the activities of the Foundation over its twenty six years of activity. Between 2010 and 2011 the historical archive was studied by a team of archivists and its material was catalogued into six different categories and 20 different sub-categories.
The audiovisual archive, which can be consulted via GEA 5.0 software, contains a compendium of international contemporary creativity and tells the history of Romaeuropa Festival through images and sound; thus the archive not only is the historical memory of the Foundation but also a source of information and an ever-growing asset for the community.
The Fondazione Romaeuropa Historical Archive is open to the public. To consult the archive, please contact the following e-mail for an appointment: d.aprea@romaeuropa.net
