Director and actress Licia Lanera (the first in Italy to obtain the rights to stage his short story collection) brings Altri Libertini by Pier Vittorio Tondelli to the stage. She focuses on the stories Viaggio, Altri Libertini and Autobahn and intervenes dramaturgically by uniting them in a single show that finds her on stage together with Giandomenico Cupaiuolo, Danilo Giuva and Roberto Magnani.
Bio
Compagnia Licia Lanera was founded in 2006, co-founded by Licia Lanera under the name Fibre Parallele. It operates in experimental and prose theater and is funded by MIC and Regione Puglia as a Cultural Enterprise.
The company’s core business is to produce plays and carry on touring reflecting the great tradition of tour companies. Sixteen shows have been produced and taken on tour since 2006.
Currently, the repertoire has eight shows to its credit: “The Black’s Tales Tour,” “Mamma” (first prize at the Troia Teatro Festival), the trilogy “Guarda come nevica”, “Venere/Adone”, “Con la carabina” and “Love me”. Two Pieces by Antonio Tarantino.
Among the recognitions obtained over the years, the play “Cuore di cane” arrives as a finalist at the Ubu Awards 2019 for best actress and best sound project, respectively, and in 2022 the show “Con la carabina” gets two Ubu Awards for best direction and best new foreign text staged by an Italian company. Since 2012, the company has also been involved in theater training.
