A full day dedicated to Graphic Design at the Romaeuropa Festival, curated by Stefano Cipolla and Studio Mistaker, with coordination by David Aprea: a celebration of visual language in all its forms, where creativity, experimentation, and cross-pollination take center stage.
REF opens its doors to a vibrant community of graphic designers, illustrators, typographers, and visual culture enthusiasts, offering a rich program of talks, visual performances, open workshops—including ones designed specifically for children—meant to spark curiosity, foster dialogue, and encourage active public participation.
At the heart of the event will be a market exhibition entirely devoted to independent publishing. Visitors will have the chance to discover and purchase zines, posters, books, and editorial projects outside traditional distribution channels—created by design studios, creative collectives, and small publishers.
It’s a day where graphic design becomes experience: a space for exploration, storytelling, and reflection on the present moment.
