Avex Ensemble
The Avex Ensemble, founded in 2019, is a group of musicians based in the United Kingdom specializing in live performances of electronic film soundtracks. The ensemble has participated in productions such as Blade Runner LIVE and The Terminator LIVE, performing at prestigious venues including London’s Royal Albert Hall and Eventim Apollo, the Orchard Hall in Tokyo, and the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, as well as touring in Dublin, Lucerne, and numerous theatres across the United Kingdom.
The musicians of the Avex Ensemble have classical training but are active across a wide range of musical genres. Throughout their careers, they have collaborated with major orchestras including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, and the John Wilson Orchestra. Their activities also extend to West End productions (Wicked, Six the Musical, Les Misérables), Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, film and television soundtrack recordings, London Fashion Week, and collaborations with artists such as Shakira, Coldplay, and Liam Gallagher. In addition, ensemble members are active as composers, conductors, producers, and recording artists.
