Frida Odden Brinkmann

Cirkus Antero
uno spettacolo su Frida e il suo demone interiore

Cirkus Antero by Frida Odden Brinkmann is a poetic and visionary performance about the conflict with one’s inner voice. On stage, Frida, a former circus artist, confronts Antero, a caustic and intrusive puppet who embodies her “inner demon”: fear of failure, judgment, and self-sabotage.
In a basement filled with memories, props, and fragments of her life under the big top, Frida returns to the edge of her circus dream. Yet every attempt to rise is obstructed by Antero, a comic and mischievous presence that pulls her toward doubt and surrender.
Through juggling, visual theatre, irony, and tenderness, Cirkus Antero transforms an inner struggle into a powerful and accessible parable for all ages: a story about the courage to believe in oneself, the fear of starting over, and the strength required to keep chasing one’s dreams.
Will Frida manage to escape the basement and find her way back to her circus?
