Usine Baug

Noir

A documentary filmmaker disappears without a trace. His name is Angel Forloi. What remains of him are contradictory testimonies, fragments of his work, hypotheses, and gaps.
Noir is an investigation that tries to give shape to this absence, inhabiting a void that keeps slipping away from any explanation.
Between true-crime atmospheres and investigative theatre, Forloi’s disappearance becomes a mirror of a present that resists every attempt to be grasped and seems to leave no room for alternatives.
Noir chooses to linger in this darkness, opening a passage for doubt and imagination, for those territories of existence in which something is still possible.

Usine Baug is a theater collective formed in 2018 from the meeting of Ermanno Pingitore, Stefano Rocco, Claudia Russo, and Emanuele Cavalcanti. The group develops shared creations without fixed roles, leveraging individual skills within a collective process. Their work weaves together prose theater, movement, and visual languages to tackle contemporary political and social themes. A finalist for the Premio Scenario in 2019 with Calcinacci and for the Premio Scenario Infanzia in 2020 with Sweet Haka, the collective won the Premio Scenario Periferie in 2021 with Topi. Recent projects include Ilva Football Club and Un viaggio che non abbiamo fatto. In 2024, they won the Forever Young award with the project Anse, conceived and created in collaboration with Mezzopalco. In 2025, they received the Hystrio Iceberg Award as the best emerging company. Alongside its artistic production, the company maintains an intensive pedagogical activity in both national and international contexts.
