Chiara Frigo -“Ballroom”- and Silvia Gribaudi -“Over60”- propose two choreographic labs and a conclusive double event BALLROOM//OVER60 involving amateurs from Lazio territory. Both works are inspired by the Act Your Age international project and both choreographers have worked at it in Italy, Holland and Cyprus.
“BALLROOM” is created by Chiara Frigo to reproduce the Ballroom atmosphere in a whole new place. The performance considers the engagement of the audience, in order to create exchangeable couples. Ballroom’s tradition mixes with contemporary elements and speed dating.
“OVER60” is a Silvia Gribaudi’s strong travelling project; it finds its strength into a strong territorial rooting and the generosity/complicity relationship between the choreographer and participants. Over 60 women move their bodies to become the centre of a feminine freedom statement.
