The collective Edison Studio, and with the collaboration of the Romaeuropa Festival 2020 and the support of the Cineteca di Bologna, presents the final evening of the Sounds of Silences 2020 – International Competition of Musical Composition for Moving Images. The aim of the call is to stimulate musical creativity in its interaction with the audiovisual medium and, in particular, the sound interpretation of historical films of silent cinema starting from attention to the timbres that characterize the instrumental, electronic and electroacoustic music of today.
