With the autoharp at the heart of her practice, Petra Hermanova’s music drifts between song and distorted drones. The Berlin-based singer and composer released her solo debut In Death’s Eyes on Unguarded in October 2023, earning her a Czech Grammy nomination. Following a sold-out release show during the CTM Festival, and a performance with the iconic Schnitger pipe organ in Groningen’s Akerk, Petra Hermanova presents the album at its most poignant, accompanied by only her autoharp and voice.
