Lazio Dance and Theatre: with Lazio Innova and Romaeuropa, calls open for new talents on the international stage
Promoted by the Lazio Region – Department of Culture, Equal Opportunities, Youth Policies and Family, and Civil Service – together with the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the project is developed by Lazio Innova in collaboration with major national and international institutions: the Fondazione Romaeuropa, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, the Hong Kong Ballet, and the Studio Wayne McGregor.
The calls are aimed at young people between 14 and 35 years of age (not yet 36), residing or domiciled in the Lazio region, active in classical and contemporary dance as well as theatre. The initiative is designed as a concrete opportunity to bring forward talent, technical skills, and artistic identity, offering a growth pathway oriented towards an international dimension.
Selected participants will have access to high-level training experiences, including dance masterclasses, theatre training courses, and moments of direct exchange with industry professionals. Alongside training, the project aims to create opportunities for visibility and professional integration within the contemporary artistic landscape, fostering the development of new career paths.
With this initiative, the Lazio Region reinforces its commitment to supporting young artists, promoting an integrated system that connects education, production, and touring, and opening new trajectories for the future of the performing arts scene.
