The Trip To Vega is an audiovisual journey through optical illusion, video, and acoustic and electronic music, conceived as a voyage towards Vega, 24 light-years from Earth. Through images and live performance, Jeff Mills and harpist Kety Fusco shape a sonic and visual narrative set on a remote planet, suspended between cosmic wonder and the imminent death of its star.
Deeply immersed in science fiction, DJ, producer and artist Jeff Mills has embraced its ideas, concepts, stories and aesthetics from the very beginning of his career. For him, Space is an obsession, and his music becomes almost a form of musical science fiction. By exploring the cosmos, his music embodies the future while respecting the past and remaining firmly rooted in the present. When he founded his own record label Axis in 1992 — its logo consisting of four triangles pointing towards an invisible center — Mills adopted the principle of the solar system’s rotation as an aesthetic, conceptual and creative model.
Kety Fusco is a Swiss harpist and composer who has redefined the role of the contemporary harp, transforming it into a radical, physical and visionary instrument. Her work moves across electronic music, sound experimentation, audiovisual performance and composition, taking the harp beyond its classical dimension and turning it into an immersive and contemporary sound machine. Following her debut album DAZED (2020), Kety Fusco has performed on international stages such as the Royal Albert Hall, Montreux Jazz Festival and Paléo Festival. With her project BOHÈME, she continues her sonic exploration, where the harp meets electronics, voice and experimentation. In 2025, she released SHE featuring Iggy Pop, while continuing collaborations with artists such as Jeff Mills and exploring the relationship between music, image and live performance.
