The evening is dedicated to three acclaimed contemporary composers who in the course of their careers have all been fellows at the prestigious German Academy Rome Villa Massimo, before gaining international recognition for their originality. The program includes the following performances: Karakuri – Poupée mécanique, a piece for voice and ensemble by Ondrej Adámek (the Czech composer known for his experimental approach to electronic and acoustic music); Fantaisie Mécanique by Unsuk Chin (the South Korean composer, internationally recognized as one of the greatest talents of his generation); and Hors d’œuvre by Vito Žuraj, an ensemble piece which will be staged with the extraordinary participation of the musician and two Michelin-starred German chef Daniel Gottschlich (short-term Fellow Villa Massimo 2023) (also known for his participation in the German version of the television format Master Chef). The evening continues with Xerrox Vol. 4 by Alva Noto.
