A house full of stuffed birds and ghostly presences. A sudden and accidental family reunion between two brothers, a sister who died prematurely and a guest. With actors Emiliano Masala, Petra Valentini and Francesco Villano, Uccellini conveys the presence and the absence of humans (dead and alive) and animals (alive and dead). A confrontation of the fears that are inherent in our actions, the intrigues and traps that we weave and into which we, ourselves, fall.
Bio
lacasadargilla is an ensemble composed by Lisa Ferlazzo Natoli (author and director), Alessandro Ferroni (director and sound designer), Alice Palazzi (actress and project coordinator) and Maddalena Parise (researcher and visual artist). It works on performances, installations, special projects and curatorial work and It brings together a mobile group of actors, musicians, playwrights, and visual artists. lacasadargilla focuses its work on writings, whether original, literary adaptations or contemporary dramaturgy texts. A reflection around time, mythographies and linguistic, psychic and family legacies that bind us to the past and to a future we can only glimpse. In 2019 lacasadargilla wins two UBU awards for Best Director and Best Foreign Text with “When the Rain Stops Falling”. In 2023 lacasadargilla wins two UBU prizes for best play and best foreign text with “Anatomia di un suicidio” and the UBU prize for best direction with “Anatomia di un suicidio” and “Il Ministero della Solitudine”.
