SUPERSTELLA questions what it means to be a creator in the current context of contemporary dance. How does one navigate the market demands and the artistic process while remaining true to personal authenticity? Drawing inspiration from Federico Fellini’s 8½ and the studies of Kenneth Anger and Richard Dyer, the performance combines dance, video projections, and texts to explore the philosophical and ethical implications of creation in contemporary dance. Using time as a fluid and manipulable concept in SUPERSTELLA transforms the creative process into a continuous cycle of renewal and discovery. The performance invites the audience to become co-creators, interacting with the fragmented structure and fluid time to interpret and reshape the meaning of the work.
