Riccardo De Simone, winner of DNAppunti Coreografici 2025, presents with Everybody Has a Fate a work that puts time under pressure. On slide boards, two dancers move along a continuous trajectory reminiscent of speed skating: they seem to advance, chase one another, brush past each other, yet never truly arrive. The result is a suspended, hypnotic dance in which each gesture oscillates between propulsion and restraint, while present, memory, and future blur into one another. Rather than narrating time, Everybody Has a Fate turns it into a physical experience, transforming it into friction, anticipation, and the desire for a landing that remains perpetually out of reach.
