Durante i Design Talks, domenica 28 settembre alla Pelanda del Mattatoio Testaccio oltre agli incontri e alle riflessioni sul design e la comunicazione visiva contemporanea, non mancheranno momenti dedicati alla creatività dei più piccoli. Due workshop speciali offriranno a bambine e bambini la possibilità di sperimentare tecniche artigianali e artistiche, trasformando l’esperienza in gioco, scoperta e collaborazione.
Workshop: Cielo Stampato – Microstamperia
Un laboratorio per avvicinarsi alla serigrafia in maniera semplice e divertente. Attraverso stencil e maschere, i partecipanti impareranno a conoscere il funzionamento del negativo e del positivo, realizzando insieme un cielo stellato. Ogni bambina e bambino creerà la propria stella di carta, che diventerà parte di una stampa collettiva. Il telaio condiviso permetterà poi a ciascuno di stampare più copie del proprio cielo: una da conservare, una da scambiare con un compagno o una compagna. Un’esperienza di manualità , collaborazione e immaginazione.

Workshop: Mani in pasta – Utol Ceramica
UTOL ceramiche propone un percorso creativo, pensato per bambine e bambini dai 5 anni in su. In questo workshop si potrà approfondire la lavorazione di due pezzi in argilla rossa cruda realizzati con la tecnica del pizzicato e del modellato che verrà consegnato dopo una prima cottura, se interessati al colore e alla smaltatura si potrà portare al laboratorio Ùtol per scegliere la rifinitura.

Don’t miss the creative workshops for kids at the Design Talks
During the Design Talks, alongside discussions and reflections on contemporary design, there will also be moments dedicated to children’s creativity. Two special workshops will give girls and boys the chance to experiment with artisanal and artistic techniques, turning the experience into play, discovery, and collaboration.
Workshop: Printed Sky – MicrostamperiaÂ
A workshop designed to approach screen printing in a simple and playful way. Using stencils and masks, participants will learn how negatives and positives work by creating a starry sky together. Each child will make their own paper star, which will then become part of a collective print. The shared screen will allow everyone to print multiple copies of their sky: one to keep, one to swap with a classmate or friend. An experience of craftsmanship, collaboration, and imagination.

Workshop: Hands in Clay – Utol Ceramica
UTOL Ceramiche presents a creative journey designed for children aged 5 and up. In this workshop, kids will work on two pieces made of raw red clay, using pinching and hand-building techniques. After an initial firing, the pieces will be delivered; for those interested in adding color and glaze, it will be possible to bring them to the Ùtol studio to choose the final finish.
