Louise Vanneste is the Belgian milieu revelation of the past few years. In 2013 she won the Critics Choice Theatre and Dance Award -assigned to the best French Community’s artists in Belgium- with “Black Milk”. Her performance is a kaleidoscope effect between tensions and suspensions and able to create magnetic visions. Bodies act in a milky space, out of which two women appear and disappear describing paths in a continuous transformation and metamorphosis. Two Diana goddess transform into vestal, then into Amazons, beasts and mothers, in a solitary and yet interacting performance. The audience is lead into a black and white reign, where the two performers look like moving statue into visual and sensory oxymoron.
