Leonardo Lidi

Heimat – Patria/Straniero
Edeyen by Letizia Russo

Five directors lead a cast of seven actors from the Second-Level Acting Course at the Silvio d’Amico National Academy of Dramatic Art in five performances exploring a shared theme, HEIMAT: Homeland/Stranger, built around the same scenographic device and presented as a five-day marathon.

Edeyen by Letizia Russo is the text chosen by Leonardo Lidi to engage with the theme of HEIMAT: Homeland/Stranger. One of the most acclaimed directors on the contemporary Italian theatre scene, Lidi brings his rigorous and deeply human perspective to a dramaturgy suspended between the real desert and an inner landscape. A story of waiting, loss and belonging, in which the search for a possible home coincides with the search for an identity.
