Greek choreographer Iris Karayan has built her work UNAUTHORIZED inspired by pop music videos and the youtube clips of Muhammad Ali and John McEnroe. Looking closely at the ways in which the body is inhabited and represented in sport and pop culture, her piece is a live collage of enactment and physical mutations, a single aseptic and bright space invaded by the physicality of the performer and aimed at exploring the emotionality of the body.
