The 193 pages of Treatise, created by Cornelius Cardew between 1963 and 1968, today represent, in all their complexity, one of the most successful examples of graphic scores. Pianist and composer Fabrizio Ottaviucci has divided the pages of the mammoth composition into six parts and, after having presented the first four during previous editions of the REF- to the applause of media and public- he returns to try his hand at the fifth section. Alongside this performance, the musician will perform Morton Feldman’s angelic Palais de Mari.
