Attraverso la storia di Audrey, una giovane donna che costruisce un’identità fittizia per sentirsi parte del mondo, lo spettacolo riflette sul confine sottile tra verità e rappresentazione, realtà e finzione.

La diva del Bataclan è un musical che scava nelle pieghe oscure di una società ossessionata dalla ricerca di fama e riscatto. Nato dalla penna di Gabriele Paolocà, con le note di Fabio Antonelli, lo spettacolo racconta la storia di Audrey, una giovane donna disposta a tutto per sfuggire a una realtà che non sente sua. Claudia Marsicano dà corpo a questa figura ambigua, che si reinventa come sopravvissuta agli attentati del Bataclan, in un gioco pericoloso di finzione e realtà. Gli attentati del 13 novembre 2015 sono stati l’epicentro di un’esplosione mediatica, dove il dolore e la solidarietà hanno preso forma e voce nei social, ma anche – nella contraddizione che segna il nostro presente – terreno d’invidia per la visibilità di coloro che si sono trovati al centro della tragedia. Nel mondo di immagini e parole, che amplifica i drammi rendendoli spettacolo, ecco il terreno fertile per la nascita di “false vittime”, figure che hanno scelto di alimentare la propria visibilità appropriandosi del dolore altrui. Nel desiderio di riscatto e disperazione, Audrey si immerge in un’identità costruita, sfidando la realtà e i suoi limiti, e si trasforma in una martire, la “Diva del Bataclan”. Una rocker (in riferimento alla band Eagles of Death Metal che si esibiva la sera del tragico evento), pronta a trascinare il pubblico in un vortice dove ogni nota racconta il desiderio di reinventarsi e di scomparire, di essere visti a ogni costo.

Written by Gabriele Paolocà with music by Fabio Antonelli, the show tells the story of Audrey, a young woman willing to do anything to escape a reality she feels doesn’t belong to her. Claudia Marsicano brings to life this ambiguous figure who reinvents herself as a survivor of the Bataclan attacks, in a dangerous game of fiction and truth.
The attacks of November 13, 2015, became the epicenter of a media explosion — where pain and solidarity found their voice on social networks but also, in the contradictions of our time, became a field of envy for the visibility gained by those at the center of tragedy. In this world of amplified images and words, where suffering is turned into spectacle, emerged the phenomenon of the “false victim” — individuals who feed their own visibility by appropriating the pain of others.
In her longing for redemption and escape, Audrey immerses herself in a fabricated identity, pushing the limits of reality until she becomes a self-made martyr — La Diva del Bataclan. A rock performer (referring to the Eagles of Death Metal band performing on the night of the tragic event), ready to pull the audience into a vortex where every note speaks of the urge to reinvent oneself, to disappear, and to be seen — at any cost.
