Teatro Amazonas

Last chapter of the Pacìfico trilogy, Teatros Amazonas (2020) takes us to two of the main architectural sites of Brazil: the Theater of the Opera and the stadium of Manaus. With a documentary-style editing and strongly political, able to mix historical investigation and ethnography, visual arts and performance, the Iberian-South American duo relates the transformations of the Brazilian Amazon between an industrial boom and colonial and indigenous culture. The last chapter of the trilogy affirms a new language for art and political activism, placing once again center stage the voice of a people and its history.
