Nina

Nina

Nina is a tribute to the life of singer, pianist, writer and civil rights activist Eunice Kathleen Waymon- known to most as Nina Simone. Thanks to the collection of audio documents, radio and television interviews and public speeches, the multi-award winning American soprano and performer Claron Mc Fadden presents an all-round portrait of the famous artist.  Inhabiting her voice and bearing witness to the vibrant manifestations of her character and creative spirit, she takes us on a journey through the most noteworthy moments of Nina’s story, including her fight for the rights of women and African Americans, until eventually delving into her most intimate fragility and wounds.
