Beginning in 2001, the year of his debut, Clark has played an important part in the music scene of electronica and techno, attracting international attention and conquering audiences with some unforgettable albums: one of which is the homonymous Clark, released in 2014.
Distancing himself from the maximalist experimentation of that record, the musician returns to try his hand at contemporary classical with Deutsche Grammophon, after the compositional experience for the soundtrack of the film Daniel Isn’t Real. Once again, electronica meets chamber instrumentation and in particular strings and piano to articulate a sequence of pieces between minimalism, dark folk and ambient.
